Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all food production and service standards for breakfast, lunch and evening dinner / supper service
- Working with the café manager on site to set standards, menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and health and safety
- Working as part of a small team in this site of 50+ customers
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Self motivated with an ability to work as part of a very small team as the sole chef on site
- Passionate about food, with an interest and knowledge of different cooking styles
- You should bring innovation and flair enjoying being customer facing as part of your daily routine
- Financially aware with a knowledge of costings, ordering and stock taking combined with an ability to implement company food safety and health and safety directives
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 706/1 706/2 or equivalent
- Food safety and health and safety certification
- Experience of contract catering in a corporate environment.
